Today at 2.30 I am relieved from my duties, I have almost 2 days off now the car has to go in the garage though...it just gets better by the day, as if life can't get any worse, the bloody car won't start now, well it does after a couple of tries, think its the starter motor, dreading how much its gona cost as we are supposed to be saving for the new house that we aint got yet!! Total savings so far....£0.00. At least I have bought all my xmas pressies, they are all wrapped too, 1st time in my life, i'm usually a last minute shopper wondering why theres nothing left in the shops! I have had some great bargains this year, bought my daughter a BMX from Halfords for £50, i took advantage of boots & woolies 3 for 2 gifts, and I even got a £5 voucher from argos when I spent £50. I am going to stop with my idle chit chat n windging now I, like the rest of the UK have been following the ipswich murders, so how dare I moan, sympathy goes out to all in Ipswich, those poor children left without a mother a fortnight before xmas.....tragic.

while the boss is away!!!!
@ 2006-12-14 – 14:33:32
So I am here, boss has buggered off to London town, and guess whos been left in charge of the sinking ship?? you got it!hehe...well so far the ceiling has fell in in the cafe, the shop assistant has had her radio stolen, and the chef has gone loopy loo, last night he was kicking the units and mumbling to himself, well I guess I have never met a sane chef.(please correct me if i am wrong) This is because he has ran out of rice!! Men can't cope with the stress like us gals do, can you imagine them having babies, then being left at home all day caring for them, it would be one way of slowing the increasing population. I needless to say got very drunk in the bar last night and have yesterdays clothes on still! TBC dead battery.....
k so i'm back...as I was saying I thought I was going to have a quiet day, open up, then go back for a shower.. no chance I have the residents from hell that want to go here there and everywhere on the bus?! not being funny but we are in the middle of Snowdonia, buses are few and far between, these very odd residents are of asian origin and are cooking up something spicy in their room, smells like dead dog! I dread to think how they are warming it, must be on the radiator, its a wonder they haven't got food poisoning...i'm going to have a look in their room while they are out, and spray the airfreshener.... any ideas how I can stop them cooking on my radiators? I might turn off the heating, it stinks.Did you like my pictures? I am learning every day!! Time for a shower, maybe its me that smells like the dead dog? -

The river is rising
@ 2006-12-07 – 12:08:49
Hi,
So let me introduce myself i'm Cat 32 years young I have a daughter, shes 13, and a b/f hes 19 (20 next month but lets not split hairs)
I live in rural North Wales and work as a hotel manager, lifes as good as it gets.........or is it?..........I am homeless, as of 20/10 my charming ex landlord decided property prices were high enough for him to sell, and subsequently slung me out! well I got 8 weeks notice. Thank GOD the local authority have temporarily re housed me at a cost of £37 per day!! which you & me are paying (WE ARE ALL TAX PAYERS) So my Housing officer informs me, there is nothing in place to collect the rent. Not that I am complaining, Its going to cost me an arm & leg to refurbish my new place, so lots of saving going on. I met my new HO on Tuesday, she informs me that I am 5th on the list to be re housed, so I am going to be in temp accom over xmas, due to the fact that the council offices will be shut, and the overpaid/underworked HO will be snuggled up in front of her log fire drinking mulled wine with mince pies, and I'll be in my wooded 1950's matchbox. Don't get me wrong, I watched the BBC series on homeless families, which was heartbreaking, some of them had 4 kids & no cooking facilities, kids are living on Pot noodles & butties.Maybe i'd fel a little more sympathy if any of them had a job, but they don't.... I just can't help feeling that someone stole the GREAT from GB.
