We've applied to 4 housing associations and councils, but noone wants to help us because they say we are ok where we are. we don't sleep at our house at weekends because it got so bad. Gosh your circumstances sound terrible....won't the council help? as you have a young daughter, shouldn't she have a garden of some sort? The councils and Housing asso are so under pressure now, i guess more in some areas. i met my housing officer the other day and she seems quite nice, have you tried talking to someone or taking free legal advice? more…

Hi there, just read your blog. Hopefully you will have more luck with your council than I'm having with mine. I'm not homeless, but where I live is terrible - I live in a block of flats and my neighbours are drug dealers, the upstairs people party every night and me my partner and 2 year old dont sleep, my car is vandalised regularly and the local more…
